Hi, I’m Eric Clark, and yes — I’m a photographer (but you probably guessed that already).
I’ve been behind the lens since the early 1980s, when I first discovered the magic of photography as a teenager. Entirely self-taught, my journey began in a makeshift black-and-white darkroom and has evolved alongside the technology — right into the digital age. Over the years, I’ve honed my craft through curiosity, experimentation, and a genuine love for the art.
Why do I do it? Because I enjoy it. Simple as that.
My portfolio is eclectic by design — I photograph just about anything that catches my eye. People often ask what kind of photographer I am.
My answer?
I borrow a bit of American military humour:
“If it moves, shoot it. If it doesn’t move, shoot it anyway.”
